What does your role at SSi encompass and in what circumstance would someone come to you?

I am the Business Development manager and spend a lot of time visiting with potential clients about our technology and why it is better! People will reach out to find out why our lift systems have advantages that no other system can offer.

What is your favourite local restaurant?

La Mision, some of the best mexican food restuarants north of the Mexico border!

What is your go-to productivity trick?

Do the hardest thing first.

What is your most loved place in the world and why?

The mountains! I love the cooler weather in summertime and the serenity of being surrounded by absolutely nothing.

MEATEATER’S American History – The Long Hunters by Steven Rinella and Clay Newcomb.

What is your favourite sport to watch?

NCAA Football, I root for all Texas teams especially when playing the schools that recruit a lot of Texas players (you all know who I am talking about!)

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A Rancher with horses and all the land that goes with it.

If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?

Ignore the No! In sales and business development if you let the no’s dictate your process you will not succeed.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?

Spending more time reading or listening to books rather than surfing social media.

What is your hometown and where do you currently live?

I consider Midland, TX my hometown as I grew up there and for some weird reason, I went back after college.

What do you enjoy most about working at SSi?

SSi provides a technologically advanced product that is fun to talk about. I enjoy seeing the eyebrows of engineers go wild when we tell them what our technology can do.
