What does your role at SSi encompass and in what circumstance would someone come to you?
As a Field Service Technician, My role encompasses providing a comprehensive support to customers and servicing SSI lifts, ensuring exceptional customer service and teamwork. I handle supplies, write up work orders and schedule jobs with customers, while also delivering a positive teaching experience to new technicians and operators in the field. Customers come to me for expert assistance, reliable maintenance, and seamless coordination of their service needs.
What is your favourite local restaurant?
Phat Fish Brewing LLC. This restaurant offers a cozy ambiance where the wood-burning oven infuses every pizza and wing with a rich, smoky flavor. Perfect for casual dinning, the aroma of sizzling ingredients, axe throwing and tasteful brewery selection create an inviting atmosphere.
What is your go-to productivity trick?
I boost my productivity by planning out my day, coordinating with the team, customer and ensuring all necessary parts for the job are organized in advanced.
What is your most loved place in the world and why?
As a frequent traveler, I don’t have a single most loved place, but I cherish the diverse cultures and memories I’ve gathered from every state and country I’ve visited. Though I’ve explored every U.S. state (except Alaska) and visited Canada several times, my passion lies in experiencing and learning from the unique aspects of each destination.
What is one thing (other than your smartphone) that you can’t leave your house without?

What is the first concert you ever went to?
The first concert I ever went to was in Hawaii when I was too little to remember, but a memorable one was Volbeat in Denver, Colorado, a Danish rock band known for their fusion of rock and heavy metal.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
The longest time I was always wanted to join the military. My path took me elsewhere.
If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
“Paths Unseen: Navigating Life’s many Routes” Starting off, it seemed like there was only one path to take, by surrounding myself with good people and mentors, it opened my mind to multiple paths. Though none were easy I discovered that the grass was always greener on the other side. Through trial and error, I learned a lot, experienced many adventures, and ultimately conquered life’s challenges.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
One thing I’m currently trying to make a habit is practicing mindfulness for at least 10minutes everyday.
What is your hometown and where do you currently live?
I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado surrounded by stunning mountains and forest, and now reside in Dickinson, North Dakota.
What do you enjoy most about working at SSi?
What I enjoy the most at SSI is the chance to interact with people from all over the world and learn about SSI Lifts. Each day brings new insight into the technology behind the units, continuously fascinating and expanding my understanding.
